Joshua Caldwell joins Al Wahda

Al Wahda Damascus (SBL) agreed terms with 31-year old American power forward Joshua Caldwell (203cm-98kg-1991, college: William Penn, agency: SDJ Sports) for new 2022-23 season. Caldwell played this summer at Lebanon Leprechauns (TBL) in the U.S. In 8 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 15.8ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in Lower Midwest Division.
Part of last season he spent at Al Arabi in Qatari QBL where in two games he recorded 11.5ppg, 7.5rpg, 1.5apg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg. Caldwell also played for Al Kahraba (Superleague) in Iraqi league. In two games he averaged 11.5ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.5apg.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Caldwell tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Canada, Finland (Bisons), Italy (FP Sport Messina), Qatar (Al Gharafa and Al Wakrah), Iraq (Al Karkh), Ecuador (Punto Rojo) and TBL (Indy E.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Caldwell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He graduated from William Penn University in 2016 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
