Touhami Ghazoul

Al Karameh Homs (SBL) signed experienced 35-year old Algerian international center Touhami Ghezzoul (209cm-1987, college: North Dakota State of Science) to play starting the Final Four Stage of the Syrian Basketball League 2021-2022.

Ghezzoul moved there from Al Salam in Saudi Arabian SBL league where he played this season. In 14 games he had very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 14.9rpg (#4 in the league) and 1.9bpg.
He also represented Algeria at the Afrobasket Championship in Rades (Tunisia) seven years ago.

His stats at that event were 7 games: 3.3ppg, 2.4rpg.

Ghezzoul has played on three different continents (Asia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Oman (An Nasr) and Algeria (GS Petroliers).

Ghezzoul attended North Dakota State of Science until 2007 and it is his 15th (!!!) season as a professional player.
