Micheal Madanly comes back to Syria and inks deal with Al Ittihad

Micheal Madanly

Al Ittihad Aleppo (Division I) signed experienced 40-year old ex-international small forward Micheal Madanly (194cm). Madanly will join the team in April. Actually it's the first time for Micheal who lives in Holland to come back and play in Syria since 2011.
Madanly also represented Syria at the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers three years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 13.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.3apg, 2.3spg, FGP: 43.8%, 3PT: 27.9%, FT: 42.9%.
He is quite experienced player. Madanly has played also professionally in China (Jilin Tigers, Long Lions and Eagles), Lebanon (Champville), Philippines (TNT Ka Tropa and NLEX Road Warriors), Saudi Arabia and Holland (Feyenoord and Amsterdam) and Syria (Al Wahda and Al Jaish).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-basket.com All-FIBA Asia Cup Honorable Mention back in 2017.
He could be described: One of the best players in the country. Good young prospect at the point and shooting guard position; nice shooting 3 pionts rang ,attacks basket and finishes effectively; nobody can stop him when he is making layup or dunk; excellent upper body strenght speed,and quickiness .soild denfeder.
