There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Al Wathba (7-12) beat 7th ranked Al Nawaeer (7-12) in Hama 80-73 on Tuesday. Al Wathba moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Al Thawra and Al Nawaeer. Al Wathba will meet Al Thawra (#8) in the next round. Al Nawaeer will play against Al Hurriyeh and hope to secure a win.
