Merjaneh re-signs at Al Jaish

Rami Merjaneh

Defending champion Al Jaish Damascus (Division I) confirmed in their roster experienced 36-year old international point guard Rami Merjaneh (183-83). He has played there for the last five seasons.
Merjaneh also played at the WABA Club Championships last year.
He has spent his entire career in Syria playing for two other teams: Al Wahda and Al Jalaa.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Merjaneh won Syrian League championship title in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-WABA Champions Cup 2nd Team in 2019.
