It was a good game for the former international guard Hye-Jin Park (178-90) who led her team to a victory with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Yung Hui Lim (178-80) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Woori Hansae players scored in double figures. American Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized American center Chelsey Lee (193-89, college: Rutgers) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Hanabank. South All-Star Team celebrated victory in the WKBL All-Star Game. They overcame Central selection 89:84. Currie Monique (183-G/F-83, college: Duke) was named the MVP. She scored 22 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and issued 3 assists. South side grabbed a 27:19 lead after the opening frame. Their opponents cut the distance at 6-point mark at the interval 46:40. Central selection went on a 27:19 run in the third term to spur ahead. But South Team responded with a 24:17 rally in the final stanza to snatch the victory. Beon Yeonha (180-G-80) provided 18 points for the winner. Mosby Bernice (186-SF-84, college: Baylor) provided 22 points and 9 rebounds for Central side. Lee Chelsey (193-C-89, college: Rutgers) finished with 17 points in the loss.
KB Stars won 2016 Park's Cup as they finished the tournament undefeated. KB Stars posted five consecutive victories with a perfect 5-0 record on top. In the decisive game they overcame KDB Life Winnus 58-51 as the latter finished second with a 4-1 record. Trailing 14-17 at the end of the first period, KB Stars needed a strong 24-14 push in the third period and closed the game with a 14-12 run. Sim Sungyoung (165-PG-92) was named MVP of the 2016 Park's Cup.
