Woori Hansae celebrated the third consecutive WKBL title. They overcame KB Stars in the fourth game of the championship series to defend the title. Woorie Hansae trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 64-55. Woori Hansae outrebounded KB Stars 36-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Hye-Jin Park (178-90) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Charde Houston (185-86, college: Connecticut, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 18 points. International forward Yeonha Beon (180-80) produced 20 points and American power forward Vicki Baugh (193-89, college: Tennessee) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Team South earn victory in All-Star Game - Jan 18, 2015
Team South celebrated victory in 2015 WKBL All-Star Game. They defeated Central selection 97:94. Kang Ajung (180-F-89) stepped up with 23 points to pace the winners. Team Central gained a comfortable 29:19 lead after the opening quarter. But Team South unloaded 38 points in the second term to get within three points 58:61. Team South pulled ahead in the third quarter. They entered the final period up by four points. Team South held their opponents to 19 points in the fourth stanza to seal the victory. Currie Monique (183-G/F-83, college: Duke) had 16 points, while Kim Danbi (180-F-90) added 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Houston Charde (185-F/C-86, agency: LBM Management, college: Connecticut) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds for Team Central. Thomas Alyssa (188-F-92, college: Maryland) accounted for 12 points in the defeat.
