Anyang - Seoul Knights 100-97

Anyang KGC are the 22/23 KBL champions. They held off Seoul Knights in the decisive seventh game of the championship series to capture the trophy. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 100-97. Anyang made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. The former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) helped adding 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Anyang's coach Seung-Ki Kim used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals and American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
