SK Knights - Anyang KGC 86-62

SK Knights clinched the first KBL title in five years tonight. SK Knights beat Anyang KGC in Game 5 of the Finals to lift the trophy. Jameel Warney (203-C-1994, college: Stony Brook) scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the winners.
SK Knights eked out a 20-19 lead after the opening quarter. Anyang KGC responded with a strong 20-12 run in the second period to ensure a 39-32 halftime advantage. But SK Knights regained the lead in the third period. The hosts spurred ahead to ensure a 55-52 advantage. SK Knights followed with a massive 31-10 rally in the fourth period and clinched the trophy. Joon-Young Choi (200-SG-1994) notched 21 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Seonghyen Jeon (190-G-1991) replied with 19 points for Anyang KGC. Junhyeong Byeon (186-G-1996) hauled in 13 points in the loss.

Seoul Knights clinched Cup 2021 title beating Wonju Dongbu Promy 90:82. Trailing 18-25 at the end of the first period, Seoul Knights nailed 32 points in the second period. Wonju Dongbu Promy tried hard to recover and posted an 18-15 rally in the third period, however could not catch up with the opponents. Sunh-Yung Kim (187-G-88) was named MVP of the event.
