Anyang KGC rallied past Samsung Thunders in Game 6 of the championship series and celebrated KBL title. Samsung Thunders were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Strangely Samsung Thunders outrebounded Anyang KGC 40-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-87) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international forward Hee-Jong Yang (194-84) contributed with 24 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. Anyang KGC's coach Yu-Wan Song used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) replied with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Gregory Stevenson (197-78, college: Richmond) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Samsung Thunders. Senior dominate Junior in All Star Game tonight. They took a 42-40 lead at the end of the first period, but lost the control of the game in the second. Junior team posted a 42-32 run to take an 8-point advantage at the halftime. The second half however was fully dominated by Senior. They won the third period 35-19 and finished the game with a massive 41-25 surge. Oh Sek-Eun (200-C-87) top-scored for the winners with 29 points and was trumped MVP and Rhodes Charles (203-F/C-85, college: Mississippi St.) notched 27. Bassett O'Darien (189-G-86, college: Troy) followed them with 22 points in a win. Kim Jong-Kyu (207-C-91) replied with 24 points in the losing effort and Craig Michael (196-G/F-91, college: S.Mississippi) brought 20.
