Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Xin Hua have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Adroit. Loser SG Bball keeps the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Nanyang. Siglap forced 29 Nanyang turnovers and outrebounded them 48-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds.
