Lino Manhom (ex Al Khaleej) joins Giants

Lino Manhom

Goldfields Giants (NBL One) have agreed terms with 27-year-old Australian forward Lino Manhom (213cm-1998, college: UTPB). He recently played at Al Khaleej in the Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 11 games, he posted impressive stats: 15.2ppg, 16.3rpg (leader!!!), 2.0apg, and 1.5bpg last season. He had a great year and was named to the Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. During the last season summer, he played at Crusaders (NBL1) where he recorded 11.2ppg, 11.2rpg, and 1.1apg in 20 games.
He has played for Central District Lions before.
His team emerged victorious in the NWAC East Region Regular Season in 2021.
Manhom graduated from University of Texas Permian Basin in 2023 and is currently in his third season as a professional player. He has also played for other colleges such as Fort Hays Tech Northwest, Wenatchee Valley College, and Odessa College.
