Newly promoted Al-Ula (SBL) cut 31-year old USA ex-international 188cm point guard Quinn Cook (college: Duke). In 6 SBL games he averaged impressive 22.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 3.8apg and 1.5spg this season.
The last season summer he played at Taipei Mustangs (TAT) in Taiwanese league. He also played for Cangrejeros (BSN) in Puerto Rican league. The other team he played shortly was another Puerto Rican team Gigantes (BSN) in Puerto Rican league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Cook was also a member of the USA international program for some years. He played for USA Senior National Team two years ago and previously for the University National Team back in 2013.
Cook represented USA at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers last year. His team won Gold and he had 5 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on four different continents. Cook is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in China (Guangsha Lions), Puerto Rico, Russia (Lokomotiv), Taiwan, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks and GS Warriors) and NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Stockton Kings and Cleveland Charge).
Among many awards he played in the final of NBA in 2019. Cook was also voted to USBasket.com All-D-League Guard of the Year back in 2017.
He graduated from Duke University in 2015 and it is his tenth season in pro basketball.
