Al-Manama in the Premier League has signed the experienced 34-year-old American forward, Devin Ebanks. Standing at 206cm and weighing 98kg, Ebanks, who played college basketball at WVU, is making a comeback to Manama, where he has played before. He began this season with Al Ahli in the Saudi Arabian SBL league, putting up impressive stats of 24.0ppg, 6.7rpg, and 3.0apg in 7 games. Ebanks helped Al Ahli reach the Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Fahed Cup Semifinals. He also played 3 games in the West Asia Super League, posting impressive stats of 24.3ppg, 9.7rpg, and 1.7apg. Last summer, he played for Tri-State in the U.S. semi-pro league Big3.
In 2010, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) in the second round (43rd overall). He graduated from West Virginia University, and it is his 14th season in pro basketball.
He is a highly experienced player, having played in twelve different countries on four continents - Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America. He has played professionally in France (Chalons Reims), Greece (Iraklis), Israel (Bnei Hertzeliya), Italy (Mens Sana), Japan (San-en NeoPhoenix), Mexico (Halcones Rojos), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Leones, Atleticos, Brujos, and Indios), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Dominican Republic (Reales), NBA G League (Texas Legends, NAZ Suns, Springfield A., and Grand Rapids Gold), and The Basketball Tournament (Best Virginia).
He won the Saudi Arabia League championship title in 2023. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Import Player of the Year in 2023.
