Newly promoted AS-Karditsas (GBL) tabbed 30-year old American 193cm swingman Roderick Camphor (college: SWOSU). Camphor already started the season at Al Fateh in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 6 games he averaged impressive 22.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.2apg and 2.3spg.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. Camphor is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Leuven Bears), Germany (Leverkusen and Hamburg Towers), Hungary (Duna Aszfalt), Lithuania (Nevezis), Poland (Spojnia, Enea Astoria, PGE Turow and HydroTruck), Slovenia (Krka), Syria (Al Karameh), Tunisia (US Monastir) and Greece (Kymis). Camphor played in the final of Syrian League in 2022.
Among many awards he received All-GAC Player of the Year award and was voted to Reese's NCAA D2 All-Star Game back in 2014.
He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2014 and it is his ninth season in pro basketball.
