Erick Neal's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old American point guard Erick Neal (178-PG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al Ittihad Jeddah and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He recorded a triple-double of 22 points adding also 10 rebounds and 18 assists, while his team outclassed Al Khewaildia (#9, 1-9) with 79-point margin 135-56. Al Ittihad maintains the 4th position in Saudi Arabian league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Al Ittihad will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. In the team's last game Neal had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Al Ittihad's top player in his first season with the team. University of Texas at Arlington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Neal is in league's top in points (9th best: 18.3ppg) and averages solid 3.4spg and 60.9% FGP. Worth to mention Neal played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Watkins (206-F-1995). He is American forward in his first season at Al Ittihad. In the last game Watkins recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Neal he helped Al Ittihad Jeddah with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Al Khewaildia (#9, 1-9) 135-56. Al Ittihad's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 7-2 record is not bad at all. Watkins is a newcomer at Al Ittihad and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Mamadou Samb (210-C/F-1989) of Al Fateh Al Hasa (#5). Samb scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Al Fateh, leading his team to a 69-51 easy win against the lower-ranked Al Khaleej (#8, 1-9). Al Fateh needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Samb has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.3rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.7bpg and a FGP of 59.3%.

9. Mohammed Alsaqer (175-F-1985) of Al-Ula - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Bailey Hardy (188-G-2000) of Al Nasr - 24 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
