Vante Hendrix's triple-double lands him Player of the Week award

27-year old American guard Vante Hendrix (196-G-1998, agency: BIG) put on an amazing game in the last round for Mudhar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He recorded a triple-double of 28 points adding also 15 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Al Salam (3-4) with 21-point margin 87-66. Mudhar is placed at 5th position in Saudi Arabian league. Mudhar is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. In the team's last game Hendrix had a remarkable 78.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mudhar's top player in his first season with the team. California State University Northridge graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hendrix is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.1ppg), rebounds (6th best: 11.7rpg), assists (5th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 70.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jason Jitoboh (211-C-2001, agency: JCK Sports Group). He is Nigerian center in his first season at Mudhar. In the last game Jitoboh recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Hendrix he helped Mudhar with another comfortable win outscoring Al Salam (3-4) 87-66. This victory allowed Mudhar to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Jitoboh is a newcomer at Mudhar and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 10.5rpg and 3.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Mohamed Harat (198-SF-1990) of Al Nasr Riyadh (#3). Harat showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Nasr, leading his team to a 103-75 easy win against Al Khaleej (#10, 0-7). Al Nasr is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 6-1 record is not that bad... Harat has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.1rpg (2nd best) and assists with 5.0apg (6th best).
