Hendrix's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

27-year old American guard Vante Hendrix (196-G-1998, agency: BIG) had a great game in the last round for Mudhar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 38 points and 14 rebounds, while his team lost the game against the league's best team Al Nasr (#2, 4-0) 85-103. Mudhar maintains the 7th position in Saudi Arabian league. Of course Al Ahli still keep the league's top spot. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Abdel-Gabar is well-known at Al Ahli and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to another Al Ahli's star - guard Ali Shubayli (190-SG-1996). Shubayli scored 28 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was another key player of Al Ahli Jeddah, helping his team with a 117-44 easy win against Al Khaleej (#9, 0-4). Al Ahli started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Shubayli turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Shubayli has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (9th best).
