Al Ahli sign Nick Perkins, ex Mayaguez

Nick Perkins

Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) signed 28-year-old American 203cm power forward Nick Perkins (college: Buffalo) for the upcoming season. He joins another USA player Alfonzo McKinnie who is already on the roster. Perkins most recently played for Indios de Mayaguez in the Puerto Rican BSN league. In 21 games he averaged 18.7ppg, 7.3rpg, and 2.1apg last season, helping them win the regular season and reach the semifinals. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. Prior to that, he played for GhostHawks (T1 League) in the Taiwanese league.
He is a very experienced player. Perkins has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played professionally in Italy (Brindisi), Japan (Albirex and Velca), Taiwan, NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets) and The Basketball Tournament (Blue Collar U).
Perkins won TBT championship title in 2022.
He graduated from the University of Buffalo in 2019, and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
