Wimbush's 36-point game gives him Player of the Week award

31-year old American forward Thomas Wimbush (201-F-1993, agency: Slash Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Al-Ula and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Al-Ula in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Al Nasr (#4, 11-6) 108-106. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Al-Ula maintains the 2nd position in Saudi Arabian league. They are still close to the very top. Al-Ula would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 15-2 record. In the team's last game Wimbush had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Al-Ula's top player in his first season with the team. Thomas Wimbush averages this season 18.6ppg and 6.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Richard Amardi (206-F-1990, agency: BIG) of Al Khaleej. He is Canadian forward in his first season at Al Khaleej. In the last game Amardi recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. He was another key player of Al-Ula, helping his team with a 108-106 win against #4 ranked Al Nasr in a game of the week. Alsuwailem has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.5rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.4bpg and a FGP of 78.0%.
