Al Ittihad Jeddah (SBL) added to their roster experienced 34-year old Nigerian ex-international power forward Suleiman Braimoh (203cm-104kg-1989, college: Rice) for season 2024-25. Braimoh is the second import player in the roster as Kenyan Makur Maker signed here earlier.
He played last season at Meralco Bolts in Filipino PBA league. In 5 games he recorded very impressive stats: 32.8ppg, 12.0rpg, 2.8apg and 2.2spg. He was a member of Nigerian Senior National Team between 2016 and 2020.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Braimoh's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in eleven different countries. Braimoh has played previously professionally in France (JSF Nanterre), Germany (46ers), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Jerusalem and Hapoel Eilat), Japan (Niigata Albirex and Brave Warriors), Mexico (Huracanes), New Zealand (Hawks and Airs), Qatar (Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa), Russia (Enisey), Spain (Longevida San Pablo Burgos), Turkey (Tofas) and NBA G League (Stockton Kings). His team won Israeli Premier League Regular Season in 2022 and 2023. He was voted to Australiabasket.com New Zealand NBL All-Imports Team back in 2014 and 2015.
Braimoh graduated from Rice University in 2011 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
