Saudi Arabian SBL round 22 best performance: Kevin Mickle (by Hoops Agents)

Guyanese-American Forward Kevin Mickle (201-F-1993) put on an amazing game in the last round for Deba, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Al Salam (#8, 8-13) 112-97. Deba maintains the 11th position in Saudi Arabian SBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 18 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Mickle had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Deba's top player in his first season with the team. Former Ohio University star has very solid stats this year. Mickle is in league's top in points (3rd best: 28.6ppg), rebounds (5th best: 12.1rpg) and averages impressive 54.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Antonio Campbell (206-F-1994) of Al Fateh Al Hasa. Campbell had a very good evening with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Al Fateh to another comfortable win outscoring Al Taawoun (#12, 0-21) 103-77. Al Fateh's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 11-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Campbell is a newcomer at Al Fateh, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Deba's star - American guard Josh Nicholas (190-G-1998). Nicholas got into 30-points club by scoring 40 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds . He was another key player of Deba, helping his team with a 112-97 easy win against the higher-ranked Al Salam (#8, 8-13). Deba can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-18 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Nicholas has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 32.5ppg (2nd best).
