Saudi Arabian SBL round 7 best performance: Mohammed Alsuwailem (by Hoops Agents)

International Center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-C-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Al Hilal Riyadh, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 20 rebounds, while his team outclassed Al Salam (#10, 1-6) with 37-point margin 108-71. It allowed Al Hilal to take over top position in the Saudi Arabian SBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Al Hilal keeps a perfect 7-0 record. In the team's last game Alsuwailem had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Al Hilal, through which he has constantly improved. Mohammed Alsuwailem has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 22.4ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.4rpg) and averages impressive 79.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Senegalese Mamadou Samb (210-C/F-1989) of Al Wehda Mecca. Samb had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 21 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Wehda was edged by league's leader Ittihad (#3, 7-0) 86-85. Al Wehda managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Samb is a newcomer at Al Wehda, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Dallas Morgan (185-G) of Al Safa of Safwa (#9). Morgan showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Safa, leading his team to a 78-75 win against Deba (#12, 0-7). Morgan has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (9th best).
