Al Taawoun (SBL) has signed 26-year-old American power forward Devin Gilmore for the upcoming season.

Gilmore, who played college basketball at Murray State, will join fellow American player Jordan Barham on the team's roster.

Last season, Gilmore was the second-leading scorer for Barsy Atyrau in the Kazakhstan National League, averaging an impressive 15.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in 35 games.

He helped lead the team to the league final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team. Gilmore's performance earned him several accolades, including being named the Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Forward of the Year and being selected to the Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League First Team.

He also played 13 games in the Caucasus Basketball League, where he was the league's fifth-leading scorer with 14.4 points per game, along with 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists. For his performance, he was chosen for the Eurobasket.com All-Caucasus Basketball League Third Team. In the previous season (2021-22), Gilmore played for Eanna

He graduated from Murray State University in 2021, and this upcoming season will mark his third year playing professional basketball.
