Washington's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old forward Jordan Washington (203-F-1993, agency: Interperformances) had a great game in the last round for Ohod and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had a double-double of 39 points and 18 rebounds, while his team edged out Al Adalah (#11, 3-16) 101-97. Ohod maintains the 3rd position in Saudi Arabian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Ohod will need more victories to improve their 15-4 record. In the team's last game Washington had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ohod's top player in his first season with the team. Iona College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Washington is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 12.8rpg) and averages solid 59.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Islem Elajmi (196-G/F-1991) of Al Adalah. He is Tunisian swingman in his first season at Al Adalah. In the last game Elajmi recorded impressive 32 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Al Adalah was edged by the higher-ranked Ohod (#3, 15-4) 101-97. Al Adalah is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Al Adalah managed to get this year. Elajmi is a newcomer at Al Adalah and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-C-1994, agency: BIG) of Deba (#8). Koreniuk scored 24 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Koreniuk's great performance Deba lost 62-75 to slightly lower-ranked Al Salam (#9, 7-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Deba can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 5-13 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Koreniuk has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 17.9rpg (#1 in league).
