Al Adalh lands Andrey Semenov, ex Novosybirsk

Newly promoted Al Adalah (SBL) tabbed 32-year-old Russian 200cm forward Andrey Semenov (college: JMU) for the new season. Semenov played most recently at Novosybirsk in Russian Superleague 1.

He was a member of the Russian U18 National Team back in 2008.

Semenov has played also professionally for other Russian teams like Spartak Sankt Petersburg, Avtodor, Ryazan, Burevestnik, and Uralmash.

Among many awards, he played in the final of Russian Superleague 1 in 2021. He was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Russian Superleague 2 Forward of the Year back in 2019.

Semenov graduated from James Madison University in 2014 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
