Al Ahly Jeddah (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American forward Jordan Washington (203cm-116kg-93, college: Iona, agency: Interperformances). Washington started the season at Qatar Club in Qatari D1 league. In three games he recorded 15.0ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg. The last season he played at Al Nahda in Saudi Arabian SBL where in 14 games he was the best scorer with impressive 31.3ppg and had 16.4rpg (#3 in the league), 1.9apg and 1.6spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL 2nd Team and All-Imports Team.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Washington's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Washington has played previously professionally in Canada (Halifax Hurricanes), Greece (Rethymno), Israel (Maccabi Hod Hasharon) and Mexico (Abejas).
His team made it to the NBL Canada Semifinals in 2019.
He attended Iona College until 2017 and it is his fifth season as a professional player.
