Rector comes back to Ohod, ex Al Bataeh

Ohod Medina (SBL) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Shane Rector (188cm-82kg-94, college: Utah State) for season 2021-22. Rector is the second import player in the roster as Moroccan Khalid Boukichou signed here earlier.
It is actually his comeback to Medina as he has played here before. He played most recently at Al Bataeh in UAE ULB league. Rector helped them to make it to the UAE League final. He also played for Al Gharafa in Qatari D1 where in four games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 3.3apg and 2.3spg in 2019-20 season.
Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Africa and of course North America). Rector has played previously professionally in Tunisia (US Monastir) and TBL (Albany P.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asia Champions Cup GBA Qualifiers 2nd Team in 2019.
He attended Utah State until 2017 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
