Al Salam newcomer to (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Jordanian international 202cm power forward Khaled Abuaboud for season 2021-22.

Abuaboud played most recently at Kofer Yoba in Jordanian Premier League.

In 16 games he recorded 14.2ppg, 12.4rpg (leader !!!), 2.5apg and 2.2spg (in top 5) last season.

He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League 2nd Team

Abuaboud has been a member of Jordanian international program for some years. He has been regularly called to Jordanian senior team since 2019 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2014.
