Antwan Space
Al Hilal Riyadh (SBL) added to their roster 26-year old American center Antwan Space (206-107kg-93, college: Massachusetts, agency: Haylett Sports). He joins another USA player Louis Munks who is already in the roster.
Space played last summer at Venados in Mexican CIBACOPA, but left the team in April. He managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 12 CIBACOPA games he recorded 11.8ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg. The last season Space played at Al-Hala (Premier League) in Bahrain league where in three games he averaged impressive 21.3ppg, 13.7rpg, 3.0apg, 2.0spg and 1.3bpg. He also played for Yulon Luxgen in Taiwanese league that season. In three SBL games he had very remarkable stats: 16.7ppg, 8.0rpg, 2.3apg, 2.3spg and 1.7bpg. The other team Space played shortly was Bank of Taiwan in Taiwanese league. In 6 SBL games he got high stats: 15.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.7apg, 1.3spg and 1.2bpg. He also spent pre-season at Moncton Miracles in Canadian NBL Canada. Another team Space played briefly was Osorno Basquetbol (Liga Nacional) in Chilean league. In four games he got high stats: 15.5ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg, 1.8spg and 1.0bpg.
He played in the final of Georgian A League in 2018.
Thanks to Space's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Space has played previously professionally in Argentina (Rocamora), Tunisia (Dalia Sport Grombalia) and Georgia (BC Titebi).
He attended University of Massachusetts until 2016 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
