Al Rayyan have been crowned League champions. They outgunned Al Shamal to conquer the trophy. Al Rayyan forced 23 Al Shamal turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. American guard TJ Starks (188-1998, college: CSUN) nailed 30 points for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Malik Curry (185-1999, college: WVU, agency: Green Sports Management) accounted for 13 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 9 steals (made all of his seven free throws). Egyptian power forward Moustafa Elmekawi (204-1994) came up with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Nigerian point guard Uchenna Iroegbu (183-1996, college: Stony Brook) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively for Al Shamal in the defeat.

Al Sadd finished third in the League as they topped Qatar Club in the consolation final. Al Sadd looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists. Montenegrin forward Alen Hadzibegovic (207-1999) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds, 16 assists and 6 steals for the winners and American power forward Clinton Chapman (208-1989, college: Texas, agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Al Sadd players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian Dejan Janjic (198-1995) responded with a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds, 14 assists and 6 steals and Serbian center Djordje Gagic (210-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a triple-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.

Al Sadd conquered the Qatari Cup title. They stormed past Al Rayyan in the championship game. Al Sadd dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Al Rayyan's 24. They outrebounded Al Rayyan 48-31 including a 38-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Sadd looked well-organized offensively handing out 48 assists comparing to just 31 passes made by Al Rayyan's players. 27 personal fouls committed by Al Rayyan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-German forward Waverly Austin (211-1991, college: Oregon) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds, 17 assists and 4 blocks for the winners and American Vander Blue (196-1992, college: Marquette) chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. Four Al Sadd players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Mario Little (198-1987, college: Kansas) responded with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and Ibrahima Seck scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Al Rayyan's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win.

Al Sadd beat Al Ahli to retain Amir Cup title-Jun 16, 2023
Qatar Olympic Committee President HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani crowned Al Sadd as Amir Cup champions after they beat Al Ahli 76-70 in a thrilling final at Qatar Basketball Federation's (QBF) Al Gharafa Complex on Thursday. President of QBF Mohamed Saad al-meghaiseeb was also present. While defending champions Al Sadd claimed the first, second and third quarters 27-24, 16-11 and 14-12 respectively, Al Ahli staged a rally in the fourth winning it 23-19. Alen Hadzibegovic (207-F-1999) scored the highest 15 points for Al Sadd while Faisal Abuissa (188-SG-1999) notched 13. For Al Ahli, Ndoye Seydou (205-F-1999) logged 16 points while Stephen Ugochukwu (201-F-1996, college: McNeese St.) scored 12.
