Guard Jaymar Perez (188-1993) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Beermen's coach Leovino Austria used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized American forward Justin Brownlee (197-1988, college: St.John's) answered with 31 points for Ginebra Kings. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Terrafirma Dyip and Phoenix. Ginebra Kings at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. Hotshots moved-up to ninth place. Loser Dyip keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with SM Beermen and Phoenix. Hotshots will meet at home higher ranked Ginebra Kings (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Terrafirma Dyip will have a break next round.
In the last game of round 7 TNT Tropang was beaten by Meralco Bolts on the road 110-106.
