PBA Round 2 of Semi-Finals. Victories for SM Beermen and TNT Tropang

SM Beermen - Ginebra Kings 93-84

Beermen outrebounded Kings 54-41 including 18 on the offensive glass. Beermen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. June Mar Fajardo orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 23 rebounds. Jeron Alvin Teng contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Beermen players scored in double figures. American Stephen Holt (193-1991, college: SMC) replied with 18 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Rhon Jhay Abarrientos (181-1999) added 18 points in the effort for Kings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Calvin-John Oftana orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-1996, college: CBU) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Clifford Hodge replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds and added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Bolts. Five TNT Tropang and four Bolts players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
