It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rain or Shine. They outrebounded Rain or Shine 55-43 including 18 on the offensive glass. SM Beermen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Paul Lee (185-89) stepped up and scored 32 points and 5 assists for the winners and power forward Ian Paul Sangalang (201-91) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds.
