We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Alaska Aces (3-6) lost to eleventh ranked Terrafirma Dyip (4-7) in Makati City 89-105 on Sunday. Terrafirma Dyip made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Guard Juan Tiongson (178-91) nailed 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side and naturalized American guard Roosevelt Adams (196-98, college: Idaho Coll.) accounted for 17 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Abu Jahal Tratter (196-93) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward John Rodney Brondial (196-90) added 12 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Alaska Aces in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Terrafirma Dyip moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Phoenix. Loser Alaska Aces dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost.
