Strangely Azour outrebounded Al Riyadi 47-35 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Nigerian center Blessing Ejiofor (196-1998, college: WVU) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. ex-international Rebecca Akl (170-1992) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Greek power forward Artemis Spanou (186-1993, college: RMU) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and Australian guard Madeleine Garrick (180-1992) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

Homentmen dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Beirut FC's 26. Homentmen forced 21 Beirut FC turnovers and outrebounded them 47-21 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Homentmen looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Beirut FC's players. It was a good game for the former international guard Amar Mansour (175-2004, college: St.Joseph's) who led her team to a victory with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). American swingman Alexis Prince (188-1994, college: Baylor) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Five Homentmen A. players scored in double figures. American forward Angela Tompkins (188-1991, college: Wichita St.) answered with 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Kahlaijah Dean (168-1999, college: Sacramento St.) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Beirut FC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
