Daniel Hamilton's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old American shooting guard Daniel Hamilton (201-SG-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Beirut Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He recorded a triple-double of 35 points adding also 15 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team crushed Homentmen (#5, 10-8) with 19-point margin 107-88. Beirut Club is placed at 7th position in Lebanese league. Beirut Club is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-8 record. In the team's last game Hamilton had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be Beirut Club's top player in his first season with the team. University of Connecticut graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hamilton is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.7rpg), assists (2nd best: 9.0apg) and averages solid 63.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tyler Bey (201-F-1998) of Homentmen Beirut. He is American forward in his first season at Homentmen. In the last game Bey recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Homentmen lost that game 88-107 to slightly lower-ranked Beirut Club (#7, 9-8). This loss caused Homentmen to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 10-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bey is a newcomer at Homentmen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Paris Bass (207-F/C-1995) of league's second-best Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut. Bass got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . He was a key player of Sagesse, leading his team to a 114-106 win against the lower-ranked NSA (#9, 6-13). Sagesse is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 14-3 record is not that bad... Bass has a great season in Lebanon. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.8ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 10.1rpg (6th best). He also has 1.2bpg and a FGP of 65.6%.
