Best players of Lebanese LBL round 21 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American Johnny O'Bryant III (207-F/C-1993, agency: Slash Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 31-year old power forward had a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Tadamon (#6, 8-12) 104-91. Sagesse maintains the 3rd position in Lebanese LBL. They are still close to the very top. Sagesse would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 16-2 record. In the team's last game O'Bryant III had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Sagesse, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Johnny O'Bryant III averages this season 14.2ppg and 7.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Sa'eed Nelson (188-PG-1998) of Antranik Beirut. Nelson impressed basketball fans with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Antranik was edged by the higher-ranked Al Riyadi (#1, 17-1) 92-89. This loss caused Antranik to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-12 record. Nelson is one of the most experienced players at Antranik and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Tim Dalger (201-F) of Mayrouba (#11). Dalger got into 30-points club by scoring 43 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. Despite Dalger's great performance the Mayrouba lost 85-103 to slightly higher-ranked Al Markaziyyah (#10, 7-12). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Mayrouba not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 13 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Dalger could try to bring Mayrouba's a little bit higher in the standings. Dalger has a very solid season. In 8 games in Lebanon he scored 26.3ppg. He also has 7.8rpg and 4.0apg.
