Lebanese LBL round 20 best performance: Henry Sims (by Hoops Agents)

American Center Henry Sims (208-C-1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for CS Maristes, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 34-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Antonine (#5, 8-9) 98-88. Maristes is placed at 8th position in Lebanese LBL. Maristes is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-11 record. In the team's last game Sims had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Maristes, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Georgetown University star has very solid stats this year. Sims is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.0rpg) and averages impressive 55.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jarvis Williams (203-C/F-1993) of Hoops Club. Williams had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Hoops lost that game 65-78 to slightly higher-ranked Tadamon (7-11). This loss caused Hoops to drop to 9th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Williams is one of the most experienced players at Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Kevin Murphy (197-G-1990) of CS Antonine (#5). Murphy got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. Despite Murphy's great performance the Antonine lost 88-98 to the lower-ranked Maristes (#8, 7-11). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Antonine ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Murphy could help Antonine to bring them higher in the standings. Murphy has a great season in Lebanon. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.3ppg (4th best).
