Champville inks Henry Sims, ex Amman United

Henry Sims

Champville (LBL) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old USA ex-international center Henry Sims (208cm-111kg-1990, college: Georgetown). He just played at Amman United in Jordanian Premier League. The last season summer he played at Tri-State in U.S. semi-pro league Big3.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. Sims was a member of USA Senior National Team in 2022.
He is quite experienced player. Sims has played in ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in China (Loongs), Italy (Reggio Emilia, Fortitudo Flat Service Bologna, Cremona and Treviso), Philippines, Saudi Arabia (Ohod), Venezuela (Broncos), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (SLC Stars and Grand Rapids Gold), South Korea (Mobis Phoebus and KoGas) and The Basketball Tournament (Dawgtown).
Among many awards his team made it to the Big3 Semifinals in 2024. Sims was voted to Eurobasket.com Italian Serie A All-Imports Team back in 2020.
He graduated from Georgetown University in 2012 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
