Anyeuri Castillo (ex Los Leones) signs at Mayrouba

Anyeuri Castillo

Mayrouba (LBL) landed 27-year old American (has also Dominican Rep. passport) 201cm forward Anyeuri Castillo (college: USC Aiken). He played recently at Los Leones in Chilean LNB league. In two games he averaged 15.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.5bpg last season. The last season summer he played at Pioneros Del Avila (SPB) in Venezuelan league.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. Castillo is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Riachuelo de La Rioja), Mexico (Dorados), Spain (Palma Fibwi), Venezuela and Dominican Republic (Soles, Plaza and Retiro23).
Among many awards he played in the final of Dominican Republic Santiago League in 2022. Castillo was also voted to NJCAA D1 All-Region XVII Defensive Player of the Year back in 2019.
He graduated from University of South Carolina - Aiken in 2021 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball. Castillo played for other colleges like: Kent State University, Central Georgia Technical College.
