Kevin Murphy (ex Beirut Club) agreed terms with Ahly Tripoli

Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 34-year old American 197cm guard Kevin Murphy (college: Tenn Tech). Murphy played last summer at Beirut Club in Lebanese LBL league.
In 2012 he was drafted by ? Utah Jazz (NBA) in second round (47th overall). The former Tennessee Tech University star is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America) in seventeen different countries. Murphy has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq and Bahrain Club), China (Guangxi and Chongqing), Croatia (Cedevita), France, Japan, Kuwait (Kazma), Philippines (North Port and Beermen), Qatar (Al Arabi), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad), Turkey (Gaziantep), UAE, NBA (Orlando Magic), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), United Arab Emirates (Shabab Al Ahli), Libya (Al Morog and Ahly Benghazi), NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold and G League Ignite) and Big3 (3Headed Monsters and Tri-State). Murphy's team won Libyan Supercup in 2024. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Honorable Mention in 2024.
