Manny Harris signs at Al Riyadi

Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (LBL) confirmed in their roster experienced 34-year old American shooting guard Manny Harris (197cm-93kg-1989, college: Michigan, agency: Slash Sports) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player in the roster as Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Kikanovic signed here earlier. He was a team leader there last season. In 18 LBL games, he had very impressive stats: 15.4ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.8spg. He helped them to win the league title. The 2023-24 season was great as he was named to Asia-Basket.com Lebanese League All-Imports Team and Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Second Team. He also played 6 games in the West Asia Super League, where he recorded 11.0ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.7apg, and 1.0spg. The other team he played for briefly was Al Ittihad Alexandria (Superleague) in the Egyptian league.
Harris has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. Harris has played in eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America). He has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Ahli), China (Harrisroes and Anhui Wenyi), Greece (AEK Betsson), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Lithuania (Rytas), Philippines (Warriors), Taiwan (Steelers), Turkey (Turk Telekom, Eskisehir, Bahcesehir, and Merkezefendi), Ukraine, NBA (Dallas Mavericks and LA Lakers), and NBA G League (Texas Legends and South Bay Lakers).
Among many awards, he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Arab Club Championship Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2010 and it'll be his 15th (!!!) season as a pro player.
