Beirut Club signs Dewayne Jackson

Dewayne Jackson

Beirut Club (LBL) signed 33-year old American forward Dewayne Jackson (203cm-95kg-1990, college: Morgan State) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He was the second-best scorer at Homentmen last season, where in 23 LBL games in Lebanon, he had very impressive stats: 18.1ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.7apg, 1.3spg, and 1.3bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. In the 2023-24 season, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Forward of the Year, named to the All-Imports Team, and named to the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League First Team.
During the summer of 2023, Jackson split his time between playing for San Lazaro Jobo Bonito (TBS) in the Dominican Republic league and the Cats in the U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He is a very experienced player. Jackson has played in nine different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Bulgaria (Beroe), Dominican Republic, Kosovo (Prishtina), Saudi Arabia (Al Wehda), Lebanon (Sagesse and Champville), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Libya (Ahly Tripoli) and The Basketball Tournament (HBC Sicklerville).
Among many awards, his team won the Bahrain League Regular Season in 2023. Jackson was also selected as the Afrobasket.com All-Libyan League Import Player of the Year back in 2021.
He graduated from Morgan State in 2013 and it'll be his 12th (!!!) season as a pro player.
