It was a great shooting night for Beirut Club especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Sagesse helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-1990, college: Michigan Tech) scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Jordanian Dar Tucker (193-1988, college: DePaul) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-1987, college: NM State) responded with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Cleanthony Early (203-1991, college: Wichita St.) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Homentmen - Al Riyadi 86-102

Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Homentmen's players. American guard Jonathon Simmons (198-1989, college: Houston) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Australian-South Sudanese center Thon Maker (216-1997) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds by American guard Zach Lofton (193-1993, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Homentmen. The former international forward Gerard Hadidian (201-1995, college: Lake Land) added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
