Newly promoted BCH Garid Ulaanbaatar (MBL) have strengthened their roster by adding the experienced 34-year-old American point guard, Kalin Lucas. Standing at 185cm tall, Lucas played college basketball at Michigan State. He began the season with Homentmen in the Lebanese LBL league.
Part of last season, he spent at Al Sharjah (ULB) in the UAE league. He also played for Jahraa (D1) in the Kuwaiti league.
He attempted to reach the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
He has also represented his national team, Brazil, in international competitions. Lucas' versatility as a player has allowed him to excel in various positions, including point guard, shooting guard, and small forward. Throughout his career, he has showcased his skills in scoring, playmaking, and defense, making him a valuable asset to any team he plays for. With his extensive experience and proven track record, Lucas continues to be a sought-after player in the basketball world.
In 2023, his team reached the UAE League Semifinals, earning them a notable achievement. Additionally, in 2021, he received the Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention, further highlighting his skills and contributions.
He graduated from Michigan State University in 2011, and this year marks his 13th season in professional basketball.
