Archie Goodwin is a newcomer at Beirut Club

Archie Goodwin

Beirut Club (LBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American 196cm guard Archie Goodwin (college: Kentucky). He played most recently at Eberlein Drive (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In only one TBT game he just recently played he had very impressive stats: 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal last season.

In 2013 he was drafted by Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in first round (29th overall). The former University of Kentucky standout is in his eleventh season in pro basketball.

He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in ten different countries. He has played previously professionally in China (Golden Bulls), France (Metropolitans), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm), Israel (Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion), Puerto Rico (Cariduros), Turkey (Bakirkoy), Ukraine (Budivelnyk), NBA (Portland Trail Blazers, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns), NBA G League (NAZ Suns, Maine Celtics and Greensboro Swarm) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete and Team Challenge ALS).

Among many awards Goodwin's team made it to the German Bundesliga Semifinals in 2020. He was voted to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2020.
