Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Antonine in Beirut on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by Sagesse 84-60. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Aziz Abdel Massih (192-1996) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Nigerian-American guard George A. Williams II (198-1990, college: Wayland Baptist) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward LaQuinton Ross (203-1992, college: Ohio St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for Antonine. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sagesse's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Antranik.
Another interesting game for Al Riyadi which played on the court of Mayrouba. Al Riyadi crushed hosts 94-57. Bosnian center Elmedin Kikanovic (211-1988) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and Hayk Gyokchyan chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Al Riyadi's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international Habib Abdallah responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Al Riyadi will play against Antonine in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mayrouba will play against NSA to get more than just one victory in their record.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Beirut: Hoops and Antranik. Hoops won against visiting Antranik 87-77. Romani Hansen nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Terry Winn III came up with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for Antranik in the defeat. Antranik's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hoops' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Homentmen.

In the last two games of round 1 winless Homentmen lost to undefeated Champville on the road 90-98. Winless NSA lost to undefeated Beirut Club on its own court 76-94.
