Dar Tucker

Beirut Club (LBL) landed experienced 35-year old American (has also Jordanian passport) 193cm shooting guard Dar Tucker (college: DePaul) for upcoming season 2023-2024

Tucker played most recently at Boca in Argentinian La Liga. In 49 games he averaged 13.2ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0spg last season. He helped them to make it to the Argentinian LNB final. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com Argentinian La Liga All-Imports Team and Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Third Team.

Tucker won Liga Americas championship title in 2018 and 2019 and the Supercup in 2018 and 2019.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Flamengo in Brazilian NBB where in 35 games he had 9.6ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.1apg in that year. He contributed to his team making it to the Brazilian National League final after they ended regular season as second best team. Tucker also played 7 games in BCL Americas where he recorded 10.1ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.1apg in that year.

In 2009 he was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in second round (18th overall).
He graduated from De Paul University and it will be his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball.

Tucker has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.

He also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta (Indonesia) last year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 6 games: Score-5 (20.5ppg), 5.7rpg, 2.0apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 63.0%, 3PT: 39.0%, FT: 60.7%.

Tucker is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Tucker has played previously professionally also in Bahrain (Al-Manama), China (Hunan), France, Puerto Rico, Venezuela (Trotamundos), Dominican Republic (Marineros) and NBA G League (N.Mexico T. and Stockton Kings).
Among many awards he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Liga Sudamericana Honorable Mention in 2022. He won Liga Americas championship title in 2018 and 2019 and the Supercup in 2018 and 2019.
