Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (LBL) agreed terms with 19-year old Lebanese forward Karim Rtail (198cm-2004). He started the season at Montenegro in Montenegrin Prva B. In 11 games he had 11.8ppg, 5.5rpg and 3.0apg.
He represented Lebanon at the FIBA U18 Asian Championship in Tehran (India) last year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: Score-4 (17.8ppg), 7.0rpg, 2.8apg, 1.4spg, 1.4bpg, FGP: 43.9%, 3PT: 34.5%, FT: 56.3%.
Rtail has played also professionally in Italy (Sassari).
Despite young age he had impressive career. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA U18 Asian Championship Honorable Mention in 2022.
